The last few years have been an exciting time for Bromley. The recent, and ongoing, re-generation of the town centre has been extremely successful and has without doubt helped by attracting new blood to the area.
Bromley is the largest London Borough and has the advantage of providing the most green spaces. It is a super place to live if you enjoy outdoor recreational activites. The southern fringes of the borough remain semi rural and can be reached from the bustling town centre by just a short drive.
Closer to the town, the Churchill and Library gardens always prove popular, especially in the summer time, with a childrens play area, public tennis courts and well manicured grounds to boot! Still within easy reach, Beckenham Place Park enjoys a country setting within an urban environment and proves very popular with dog walkers, cyclists and also provides a stunning golf course. ‘
Transport links, both to central London and the coast, are another particularly strong feature the area has to offer. Bromley South provides fast and frequent train services to London with Victoria station taking just 17 minutes to reach. There are also good links to Blackfriars (via the Thameslink line), whilst Bromley North provides a service linking to Grove Park (London Bridge/Charing Cross).
Bromley has, for many years, provided fantastic local schools and enjoys a great reputation for doing so. Many of our schools benefit from OFSTED ‘Outstanding’ status and we have seen many families moving into the area in order to provide their children with a good education.
A growing recent trend in Bromley has been the increase in the volume of people moving into the area from central London. Buyers and renters alike appreciate all that the area has to offer and they are encouraged by the recent improvements and investment within the town centre. With the expansive Intu Shopping Centre (for many years known as The Glades), plus an excellent range of bars and restaurants, Bromley has an exciting ‘Buzz’ about it which is only going to continue.
